Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd continued to build on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd recovered from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was lost by majority vote.
