He then began performing lip-syncing on TikTok (which was formerly called Musical.ly). The first song he released, Sweatshirt was released in the year 2016. Jacob's initial single Sweatshirt became hugely popular. It went on to become the 9th highest-rated artist on the charts. His first album was released in 2017titled The Last Text.
